Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) – Medicare Coverage
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is an Australian Government program that helps cover the cost of basic dental services for eligible children aged 0–17 years.
Families who receive certain government payments can access up to $1,132 over two calendar years for essential dental care.

Each January we check if your child is eligible for dental benefits. We keep checking during the year. If they’re eligible we’ll send you a letter.
If your Medicare online account is linked to myGov, you can check your child’s eligibility online.
To do this:
Sign in to myGov.
Select Medicare.
Select History and statements, then Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
